Amitabh Bachchan taken to hospital on his 66th birthday

Amitabh Bachchan has been taken to Nanavati hospital first and then to Lilavati hospital due to stomach-ache on his 66 th birthday. It is said that he has problems of stomach from last night.

Bachchan was taken to Nanavati hospital where he had some check-ups and then was taken to Lilavati hospital by ambulance. In the process he came from Nanavati hospital on his foot which suggests that he is not having great problems. His family members including his son Abhiskek, wife Jaya, daughter Sweta, daughter-in-law Aishwarya were with him in the hospital along with Amar Singh.

Earlier, in December 2005, Amitabh Bachchan was successfully operated upon for infection, inflammation and perforation in his small and large intestines at Leelavati Hospital. Bachchan was admitted to Escorts Hospital in New Delhi on November 28, 2005, following complaint of abdominal pain and was brought to Leelavati Hospital, where he underwent treatment for almost two months.

Indian Idol 4 kicks off

The new season of Indian singing reality show, Indian Idol 4 has kicked off. It is shown on Sony Entertainment Television from September 19,2008. It has started a bit late compared to its two rival shows - Star Voice of India and Sa RE Ga Ma Pa challenge.

The judges who will be in this new season are Javed Akhtar, Annu Malek, Kailesh Kher and Sonali Bendre. Javed Akhtar and Annu Malek were also the judges of season three. The other two have replaced Udit Narayan Jha and Alisha. The fight between judges was a very notable aspect of the show in previous versions. 

Indian Idol has completed its three seasons and claims to be a great success. The first Indian Idol was probably the must successful. The second season was unknown. In the third season there was a fierce competition with Sa Re Ga ma challenge shown in Zee TV and Amul Star Voice of India shown in Star plus. This time it may continue.
